Effective September 22, 2026. This policy covers Tandivo for iPhone, iPad, Apple Silicon Mac and Apple Watch, developed by mehmetefeaytas.
Tandivo stores audio, transcripts, summaries, speaker labels, questions and answers in the app's local storage. Speech recognition and text generation use on-device Apple models or model packages that you choose to download. Tandivo does not upload meeting content to a developer server or cloud AI service. Watch recordings transfer to your paired iPhone through Apple's WatchConnectivity framework.
Pro users can choose to synchronize meeting text, summaries, tasks, audio and attachments through their personal iCloud Drive. Apple transfers and stores this content under the user's Apple Account so Tandivo devices signed in to that account can share a library. A recording made on iPhone can be processed locally on an iPad or Apple Silicon Mac and the result can sync back to iPhone. The developer does not operate this storage or receive the meeting content. Sync is off until the user enables it and can be disabled in Settings.
Downloading speech and language assets requires network access. Apple hosts its assets; optional open models are downloaded from Hugging Face and their model publishers. These services receive ordinary connection information such as your IP address and requested model files, but Tandivo does not send them your meeting content. Purchases and subscription management are handled by Apple. Apple processes purchase and billing information under its privacy policy; Tandivo reads verified entitlement status, not payment-card details.
The free version uses Google Mobile Ads and User Messaging Platform for optional rewarded ads and occasional interstitial ads. Tandivo requests non-personalized ads and disables Google's publisher first-party ID. Google may process IP addresses and approximate location derived from them, app/device identifiers, ad views and interactions, and performance/crash diagnostics to deliver and measure ads and prevent abuse. Meeting audio, transcripts, summaries and questions are never included in advertising requests. Where required, consent choices are shown before ad requests; advertising privacy choices are available in Settings. Tandivo does not request access to Apple's advertising identifier. Pro disables ads. A completed rewarded ad grants one local transcription credit only after Google's SDK reports that the reward was earned; reward history stays on this device and is not backed up to a developer server. Microphone access is used only when you start recording. Speech assets support transcription. Reminders access is requested only when you choose to export tasks. Optional app lock uses Apple's device authentication; Tandivo never receives biometric templates. Recordings are visible in the app and supported system recording indicators. Obtain participants' permission before recording as applicable to your situation.
You can delete individual meetings or the whole archive in Settings. When iCloud Drive sync is enabled, deletion records synchronize to the user's other Tandivo devices; propagation depends on those devices connecting to iCloud. Optional retention removes original audio after the selected period once a summary has been processed; transcripts and summaries remain until you delete them. Downloaded models can be removed separately. Backups and exports are created only when requested and contain readable meeting information, including audio when selected or included in a full backup. They are not password-encrypted: protect files you share. Deleting an in-app meeting cannot delete copies you exported elsewhere. Restoring a backup merges new meetings without replacing existing meeting IDs. Purchase and reward entitlements are not included in backups.
Tandivo does not operate a separate analytics or crash-reporting server. Apple may process App Store/TestFlight diagnostics under your Apple settings and its own policies. Do not include confidential meeting content when sending feedback. For privacy questions or deletion help, open a support request; support requests are public, so include only non-sensitive information. Local meeting content is not accessible to the developer.
Apple Intelligence must be available and enabled on a compatible device for Apple's text model. Speech recognition and text generation have separate language support. If unavailable, use Model Center to download a compatible local model. A network connection is required for first downloads; subsequent inference is local. Model quality and memory needs vary by device and language.
Keep Tandivo open for local GPU model processing. Long tasks may be interrupted by the operating system; saved transcripts and summary checkpoints permit retry. Pro users can sync a recording to a compatible iPad or Apple Silicon Mac and run the local transcription and summary there when an iPhone does not have enough memory or processing capacity. The Simulator cannot validate real microphone quality, thermal behavior or local GPU inference. For assistance, create an issue with app version, device and a description without private recordings.
Tandivo uses Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. Subscription price and period are shown by the App Store before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through Apple account subscription settings. Restore Purchases is available in the app. AI output may contain mistakes; verify decisions, owners and dates against the linked transcript before relying on them.
